Ayrton Senna da Silva was a Brazilian Formula 1 pilot, three times world champion in the years 1988, 1990 and 1991. He was also vice-champion in 1989 and controversial championship in 1993. Died in an accident at Autodrome Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola during the San Marino Grand Prix in 1994. His excellent performance in the previous formulas (especially in British Formula 3 in 1983) led him to debut in Formula 1 Grand Prix of Brazil in 1984 by the team Toleman-Hart. Once in his first season in the highest category, Senna showed exceptional talent quickly leading to a small team of English and exhaustion results ever achieved. It is considered one of the biggest names of Brazilian sport and one of the largest drivers in the history of motoring
